The style of writing was so interesting; I really enjoyed the back and forth between Owen's real life and his first drafts of his book. It really added a second layer of intrigue because you saw what was going on in real life, yet trying to connect the missing pieces with the tidbits you learned in his book's chapters. It makes so much more sense looking back now, knowing he was going to end up with Charlotte. I love the many dimensions to this book! I also have never read a medical mystery and it was so fascinating looking behind the scenes and trying to piece it out for myself what happened. The characters were so complex; you liked and also disliked them. But it was also curious to see them grow throughout the book. And man, so many plot twists happened in the relationships and the life of Owen, that I really did not see coming! Overall, I enjoyed the book and the humors in it and I did enjoy Owen's character and growth. This was a good one!
