I don't read a lot of literary fiction, so I spent a lot of this first impression read getting my bearings. I think it's the weaving in of the novel that both starled and intrugued me the most. And I like the idea that there is some mystery involved, so I would be interested to see how that gets stepped up as the book progresses.
