Too wordy, too strange, and too stream of thought

This might have been something I would have read in college, attempting to be "edgy". Now, though, I couldn't even stomach this First Look. Too wordy, the lawyer in me desperate to cross out every unnecessary word. The passive tense killed me. And no quotes? Just no.
