So this might be a brilliant, hilarious, well-rounded story with thought provoking characters. It might be a book that stays with you for hours after you finish. It might be all of these things, but I will never find out, because I couldn't make it past the first couple of chapters. I thought the author's description of women was gross and predictable and his writings of men and their thoughts pretentious and boring. That might be the point - but I am just not bothered to find out.
I think there are people whom this would speak to more than me, and find this hilarious, as the premise is actually really interesting, but I just can't get past the thoughts of these men.
