I can't get into this book. The writing style (call it literary if you'd like) is just so convoluted and hard to follow. Maybe it's my state of mind right now, but I'm not liking the excessive wordiness, the premise, or the format (interspersed with chapters from a book written by one of the characters). I don't think the writing is terrible, just not what I want to read right now, so 3 stars to be fair. (Heck, I just read some Booker Prize nominated books that I liked less!)
