Unfortunately I found the writing style tedious and the storyline obscure. Once I commit to read something, I finish it whether I like it or not, and I did finish this excerpt. However, I counted the pages trying to get to the end of the first look. Sadly, I found This sample uninteresting And the characters unengaging. “ Corrupted humors” was as unfunny as the amputations referred to in the excerpt.
