This was a very unique and interesting first look of a new, exciting book. A patient explodes on the surgery table and reporter/investigator Berk is assigned to investigate the possible crime. In the process he meets and becomes obsessed with the surgeon’s lonely wife. Can he figure out the mystery of both the death and his feelings for her? I can’t wait to read more.
