First off I was a firefighter so reading the excerpt of the book peaked my interest. The first few pages of this book gave me the chills. The descriptions that J.R. Ward uses are accurate to real life. She made me feel like I was there in the book.
The end of the chapter is a cliffhanger that draws you in. I had chills as I read it. I had to buy this book. I had to know what happened to Ashburn and her fellow firefighters. Did she get out and is she injured. What about her father. He died in the line of duty?
J.R. Ward’s writing style is very clear and easy to follow. The flow is something I enjoy as she draws the pictures for you.
I would highly recommend it this book to everyone who likes some angst and romance.
