It took me so long to read this book. I knew it was part of a series but from the moment I saw the cover, I knew it was a books I needed to get. And yes, I was no wrong. The characters and the story are great.
It's full of romance and family drama that I hope we get to know more in the other books. I know there are prequels that can help us to understand better the start of the series. I don't want to give away much of the story because in all the books we get all the information we need to experience the book better but Anne is a heroine that I admired because she doesn't need anyone to rescue her, she goes after danger. J. R Ward is an excellent writer and she never disappoint with her stories.
