I JUST realized as I went to write this that this book is the first in the series!! SO stoked about that because JR Ward is the QUEEN of the series - I love the Black Dagger Brotherhood series!
I was immediately drawn to this book because I come from a firefighter family and this one did NOT disappoint! It's definitely romance fiction - right from the start she jumps right in with romance, drama, mystery - and I was instantly hooked!
I love anything that deals with a mystery and in the style of Backdraft, etc. we follow a string of mysterious arsons set around the city and they are trying to find out who is setting these fires while fires are brewing on the side- in love, family, and all sorts of HOT drama!
