**I won an Advanced Reader's copy from a Goodreads Giveaway in exchange for an honest reveiw**

Obviously the book is already out and there might be changes to the final copy. However, like the title states the book was a bit of a lackluster for me. It was hot and steamy in some places and there was a nice enough plot, setting and mystery but it was predictable. I almost thought it was going to be my first SUPER hot and steamy romance novel... not even. That might have thrown off the story line but again it was rather predictable. Head-strong Anne Ashburn drives through her work and men, determined to be "one of the guys" and not just a chick, of course she'd power through a mystery to discover a plot that relates to her messed up relationships and future.

J.R. Ward does leave room to write a sequel to it. Maybe tie around some evidence to this big ol' mystery of who is the puppeteer to the ending mystery. If there will be, I don't have the interest or initiative to read it.
