I’ve been in love with J.R. Ward since first reading her Black Dagger Brotherhood series. She’s known for her PNR, but it turns out she can write contemporary romance just as well!
Consumed is the first in her all new firefighter romance series and it starts off with a bang. The story is intense and addicting - I couldn’t stop reading this book! Danny and Anne were interesting characters. I love second chance romances and this one was great. I could feel the heartache between them and their wariness of one another. But I loved getting to experience them making things work this second time around.
J.R. Ward can do no wrong in my eyes. Consumed was a great first book in a new series and I can’t wait to see where she’ll take us next!
