It was an okay read
This book was overall an okay read for me. The beginning started off right into the action, which I'm a huge fan of. But after the initial incident, there wasn't a whole lot of action throughout the rest of the book.
I loved Anne Ashburn! Her drive and will to never give up even after what happened to her was inspiring. But on the other hand, I wasn't a huge fan of Danny McGuire. His attitude and disregard of authority continued to put his life and the lives of others at risk time after time.
The twist at the end seemed to come completely out of nowhere. It wasn't like a "whoah I never would have guessed" moment! It didn't really make sense and just seemed to exist to stir things up a bit.
This was an entertaining read, but that's about it.
Rating: 6.5/10
