Definitely a "HOT" one! Jumps right in on the story and doesn't let up. This story has a lot going for it - firefighters, intrigue, romance, danger and did I mention firefighters (always interesting to read about - coming from a firefighter's girlfriend). The beginning reels you in and gets you hooked.
With a quick introduction to the characters the story is off and running. Anne Ashburn is written as a real person, likeable and funny as well as being serious about her job. And Danny seems like the All American boy we all want to know and hang out with.
The way JR Ward writes the fire action you have to wonder if she knows someone on a department, if not she did great research, which is a must to make a believable story.
