What I liked about this book right away was how non-cliche` it seemed. Yes, there is a bad-boy and a good girl who I think will end up together. Yes, she is hot-headed and independent and he seems hell-bent on breaking down her walls. But there's intrigue and mystery and fire and murder happening here! I think those are going to add many new elements to a maybe overdone story.
The cover is a little bland, but the synopsis drew me in right away. This is a book I can not wait for! There are already burning questions in my mind: what went on between the two of them? What about her father? Who was the man she saw? And I only read the first chapter! I am sure this book is going to be a quick read, because I won't be able to put it down.
