The cover art and the blurb for this novel had me skeptical if it would be a genre I'd enjoy. After reading the first impression, I'm thinking this book isn't for me. The humor in it has a satirical feel, and I think this is intended? I think this is more of it isn't the book, but the reader type of issue. However, I will note a quote below that I did find pretty funny.
