The cover immediately caught my eye and so did the title. The cover is absolutely beautiful, it’s definitely a book i would pick up if i was browsing bookstore shelves for something new and exciting.
I have always loved greek mythology as a whole and i love a good mythology retelling, especially when it stays true to the original myths.
As someone whose first language isn’t english, the writing was easy to understand and captivating at the same time; I loved some of the beautiful metaphors used to describe the landscape.
I also love reading books where the main characters are women, especially intriguing ones. I can never seem to get enough when it comes to strong female leads in books!!
