Female empowerment, kick-ass action
Modern spin on Greek mythology
What I didn’t like:
All of the above didn’t blend well for me. My mind was wandering and I couldn’t stay focused on the story. Could this have been my mood of the day? Possibly. But I probably wouldn’t read this book unless someone gave me a compelling reason to - it’s just not my jam. However, I’ll definitely recommend it to my daughter, who 100% loves fantasy YA, as well as Greek mythology.
