As someone who isn't particularly familiar with Greek mythology, I don't know anything about Clytemnestra but am excited for what this book has in store. From the first lines of the epigraph ("There is no peace / for a woman with ambition,") to the opening scene looking over a deathly cliff, the book immediately captured my attention. The writing set the mood so well, and I especially liked the line that says, "blood and death don't frighten them because they are still young, growing up in a world of myths and goddesses, and they don't yet understand the difference between what is real and what is not."
