This story is so sad and heart wrenching. I cried reading what she endured. She was abused and degraded and nobody should be. This was a very hard book to get through because it was so sad and it broke my heart. If you can’t handle sad stories I want to caution you because it’s got a lot of triggers. I am happy I bought this story and read it because it will stay with me for a long time. The author did a great job of the world building and explaining everything in detail. I really feel sorry for the main character and I’m happy I got the chance to read her story. This book will stay with you for a long time, but it’s worth it because it’s brutal and real and that is what makes you feel the most.
