For some reason, I was not able to make it through this one. It isn't a bad book necessarily, and I don't think my inability to get through this had anything to do with the writing itself. I just couldn't stay engaged in what was happening and kept losing interest. Maybe I just wasn't interested in the genre at this time. Every time I picked it up to read it, I felt more in the mood for a fantasy or something with magic. I can't help myself!
I eventually just decided to call this one a loss after trying for awhile because I don't like forcing myself through books, and that won't help me like the book more. I know this author is popular and well loved, though, so I am sure other people have loved this book!
