I read this book after I feel in love with Cilkas character in The Tattooist Of Auschwitz. This story was just as amazing as that book. It just went right along with it just from a different characters aspects of what was happening. But I loved how it still had the characters from tattooist book in it right along with everything we already knew. I absolutely fell more in love with Cilka and her journey. She had a tough journey. But there was such an amazing story she needed to tell. This suthor has a way of telling a story. I absolutely loved both Cilkas journey and Lolys. I would highly recommend this book especially if you're already read tattooist of auschwitz. They are the perfect combination. All things holocaust and that era just intrigue me so much. And this one was perfect!!!! I'd put it right up there with Night by Elie Wiesel. Just stunning.
