Highly emotive + beautifully written = READ THIS
Heather Morris has an exceptional skill when it comes to story-telling, her books based on the real-lives of individuals are emotive, empowering, and astonishingly beautiful. She is an instant-buy author for me; after reading 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' I wanted so much more, and was absolutely thrilled when she decided to take on the story of Cilka.
**Spoiler Alert**
This book is heart-breaking... and incredibly infuriating, the treatment of Cilka - a victim - at the end of the novel completely broke me. I am not usually a person who has such a visceral response when reading, or watching, anything... but the fact that this happened to a REAL human being. WOW. Just wow.
I will be 100000% buying Heather's next book, I would recommend that everyone needs to read these novels, and hear the stories of those who have been unheard for way too long.
