I could not put this book down. There has been a lot of books out about Auschwitz the past few years but this one was so gripping and powerful. The story was moving and I was never bored, I was finding myself constantly feeling like I was going to cry or smile for them.
I do not know how the author did it but she somehow made the story moving and happy at times. Such a powerful book that shows us, even in the worst situations you can find some love and joy at times. This is a book I will keep forever and re-read.
The friendships that were created and built up throughout this story is beautiful and heartwarming throughout.
