A heart-wrenching story of a woman doing what she must to stay alive. Cilka's Journey was well written and so easy to get lost in the story. The horrors she goes through will leave you biting your nails and on the edge of your seat, holding your breath to see if she survives all the mind - bobbling things she goes through. You'll have tears running down your face because no one should ever have to go through the nightmares she did. The part about her and her mother, broke my heart and had me missing my mom so much. Cilka, didn't think about herself, she was always doing what needed to be done to help everyone else around her. She was an inspiration in my eyes who endured so much pain and sorrow that you're bound to love her and understand why she does everything she does and not judge her for it. A must read!
