This book reminds me of another book I love called "A Good Woman", by Danielle Steel. Based on the summary it seems like it has similar qualities in that we see the heroine progress through the years and grow into herself. I also like that the original setting is Auschwitz because I enjoy reading books in that setting in order to learn more about it. Overall this looks like a very intriguing book that definitely caught my attention.
