This novel is powerful, heartbreaking, and moving all bundled into one. I actually knew that simply from reading the description - but the first look confirmed that suspicion.
The cover is evocative - and fits in well with other novels covering this subject - but that's not a bad thing. I actually love that you kind of know what you're in for just by looking at the cover.
