Historical fiction is my favorite genre and WW2 novels can be so heartbreaking. I have a feeling this story will be no different. I am enthralled by the description of Chilka’s journey. I can’t imagine being liberated from a concentration camp and then being sent to a prison. This seems like the kind of story that will stay with you long after you read it.
