This is a novel based on a woman who truly was in the concentration camps, but it is not 100% fact, Therefore it is considered fiction. It is heartbreaking to read about Cilka, who was used as a sexual toy for the Nazis. When it is discovered what she had done during the war they send her to hard labor. Along the way, she meets other women who have been released from concentration camps, and sentenced to hard labor. This looks to be a heart breaking novel, but I do hope that there is some redemption in it.
