I’ve read The Tattooist of Auschwitz and I like how this story ties in Gita and Lale. Any historical novel about WWII and the horrific things people endured in those times are always difficult subject matter to read. I think it is important to know about history and I’m glad writers take the time to find these personal accounts to write about. I’m curious to see where Cilka’s journey takes her and how Gita and Lale fit into her story.
The cover is very fitting to the story and the concentration camp in the background with the ghostly fog is a creepy touch.
