I really didn't like this book as much as I had hoped that I would, but I still enjoyed reading it and getting to know the characters. The characters were fun, funny, and highly believable. The story felt very much like a small town, too.

I really enjoyed getting to know Haze Evans, a newspaper columnist from a small town in Minnesota who is in a coma due to a stroke. Readers get to know Haze from her previously published newspaper columns where she discussed various topics. While things did get a little political, I didn't mind reading through it all.

Now while I did enjoy the book, I definitely didn't love it and I don't think that I will find myself suggesting it to other readers. The premise was great but the story fell a little flat at times. The characters, however, I really enjoyed.
