I found this delightful. It is well written and has credible characters. I found her similar to Fannie Flagg in the way she brought the characters alive.The book should be used to encourage people to read more and write more. With all the electronics this book shows the Importance of the written word in different types. A journalist is the featured character, and there are less newspapers and other written articles around for reading. Also, it is humorous and a light read unlike the negativity in the news today. This shows how to involve a community in positive news and to be able to respond to the news in the newspaper. To share details of the plot would spoil the story. I plan to recommend this for our 2020 Book Club list.
