Chronicles of a Radical Hag (with Recipes) - How can you not be attracted to a book with a title like that?

Haze, now in her 80's, first took over the job of columnist for the local paper 50 years ago. Now that she has had a stroke, who will fill her column? The space is filled with past articles she has written and oh the memories it brings back for the townsfolk, both good and not so good.

Although politics was a part of it, which usually is a turnoff for me, the story was a nice story told with humor and recipes and warm feelings. We get to know several characters and oh do they get to know Haze, including some of her secrets.

Thank you Bookish First for an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest opinion. I really enjoyed this story.
