After writing a column since 1964 for the Granite Creek Gazette, Haze Evans suffers a massive stroke a week after her 81st birthday. Susan, the publisher of the Gazette, is worried about Haze not only as an employee but also as a friend. As a tribute to her dear friend, she decides to reprint her column in the newspaper.
