Can’t form a connection with Cronicles of a Radical Hag

I was intrigued by the title of this book and liked the cover. To be honest, though, I just could not form a connection with the characters. I thought I was going to like the book when I first started. Then Haze had her stroke and the storyline changed to others trying to give a picture of Haze and her column writing. I lost interest, unfortunately.
