I don't think I have read anything like this book before. It was a little difficult to get into, but somehow it has left me wanting more. The beginning backstory was a little dense. I found I was getting a bit bored with it. The first chapter or two were also a little slower, but it picked up.
The world building is unique. I don't think the surface of it was even touched in the beginning, it's just starting. There is so much that we don't understand yet.
The cover captures the feel of the story, and I think it works very well for it. I probably would have chosen something a little different done with different colors because of my personal opinion. However, the cover does catch your eye.
