This story follows the events of the Clockwork Angel Trilogy, with characters from that series as adults and their children being the main characters of this series. I loved Clockwork Angel and its sequels so much, so I was so excited to hear about a new series set following those novels.
What I've read does not disappoint in the least. I already love a lot of the characters (Lucie, Matthew, Thomas) and I am so excited to see how the progression of the group as a whole plays out. I love the Shadowhunter lore and world, and I am so excited that we get such a large cast of characters with this series.
Cassandra Clare's writing is addictive and beautiful, and her characters are relatable and diverse. I couldn't be more thrilled to be back in this world.
