I know, I know...this is THE book release that everyone has been waiting for. I'll admit even I was excited for it. Its not a bad book and I blame my age more than anything else for me not enjoying it as much as I did the Mortal Instruments. I was all about this book because of the Herondale connection and Jace from MI. However, this story is more in line with the Internal Devices, which is a series I haven't yet finished.
It still is a good read though. I love the voices she gives her characters and I love the development of her characters. There are a lot in this book just as there have been in her previous books. I enjoyed Cordelia who I would say is the main character in this book, but I just can't help but compare her to Clary from Mortal Instruments. I think, however, the comparsions are to be expected when the worlds are so similiar and related.
