Being a huge fan of the Mortal Instruments and Infernal Device I was very excited to win the ARC of Cassandra Clare's newest book, Chain of Gold. The first thing I noticed was the beautifully elegant cover that drew me in from first glance. The story follows James, son of Will and Tessa, as him, his sister, and his friends try to solve the mystery appearance of demons that are unlike any others they have ever seen. The book has a great mix of action and love story that it kept me engaged throughout the whole book. I loved having the familiar characters, such as Jem, Will and Tessa in the book as well as getting to know and love all the new ones. The book ends with the reader being on the edge of their seat and anxiously awaiting the sequel to this wonderful story.
