Cassandra Clare has done such a wonderful job in continuing her series and the shadow hunter world as a whole. It is rare that an author can continue on a series for this long and continue to srun the readers. The cover art was has also been quiet amazing with the release of these novels. This book had me literally gasping at points and on the verge of tears. I always thought that the infernal devices would be my favorite of her shadow hunters but chain of gold really now has me questioning that. The world and writing are addicting. I also love that the characters in this book intertwine and are related to the characters in her other books that I know and love. This one really blew me away and I need the rest of the series asap.
