A nice retreat from the real world

While we sit quarantined, doing our jobs to help stop the spread of COVID-19, it is nice to re-enter a familiar world. While this next series isn't entirely necessary, it is still a nice respite.

Here is what I liked:
The cover, because...always her covers are beautiful.
Magnus Bane - I found myself starving for more of him. I couldn't decide if I should put him in what I like or What I Didn't Like because there simply wasn't enough of him. I loved that he was here, but just not enough.
The Ghosts - Cassandra Clare always writes in ghosts and always draws them as clear as if they are still alive. Kudos to successfully writing them this way again.

What I didn't like:
Some characters were pretty flat in this book with nothing new to add. Lucie is the most disappointing to me as we really saw nothing new here. And NOT ENOUGH MAGNUS.
Another brick of a book counting in over 600 pages. I know we should expect it, and really it isn't something I don't like, it is just a lot.
