So excited to get back to a Cassandra Clare read!

It's been a hot minute since I've read Cassandra Clare. After getting a taste of Chain of Gold I'm wondering what in the world I was thinking...because Clare is a fantastic writer and I remembered very quickly how much I love her books. Chain of Gold has that magical and lyrical feel that saturates her novels and the characters begin to jump from the page within just mere paragraphs. I cannot wait to read more and follow characters that I have stepped away from for FAR too long.

Side note: I am incredibly happy to see that the cover falls in with the trend for her previous novels. Beautiful. I love the colors and the flowing style of the artistry. And I am ALWAYS happy when all of the books in a collection match.
