I love the world Cassandra Clare creates with her Shadowhunters books - and I am especially excited to know more of the Will and Tessa story through their Shadowhunter children and their friends. Clare's series often flip between past and present and I personally adore the series set in 1800's London and the wonderful descriptions of that time and place. Do I feel slightly weird reading about teenage romances? Yes, but I can't resist the mystery surrounding her stories and characters and the dual lives they lead as demon-destroying Shadowhunters. The biggest mystery often lies among the Shadowhunters themselves, and not the creepy crawlies they protect the world from. Cassandra Clare's books will suck you in and not let you go!
