I'm not familiar with Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter series, but I could see why people rave over it. Her writing is beautiful, and evokes powerful images of turn of the century London. The main characters are talented, intelligent, and very close, as well as seemingly all related in some way. I've read my share of supernatural fiction, and I enjoyed the concept of mundanes, faeries, and Downworlders being broken into various categories.
I'm curious to learn more about the boy that Lucie encountered in the forest, who saved her from the Fair Folk, and to learn more about the events in the First Look. It's definitely an intriguing story, and I look forward to reading more of this, hopefully sooner rather than later!
