I am living (and dying) for the old English phrases the author uses in her writing, it's a perfect addition to the story and really helps transport us back in time.
We've got a boy gang, a pair of best lady friends, a sprinkle of extra nasty (and messy) demons, a few cases of unrequited love (my favorite) and something darkly mysterious happening beneath the surface...
Why are the demons in London so scarce compared to other cities, why is Daisy's father being framed for a failed mission and a simple miscommunication, where will all their paths cross and what will they wear the the ball?!
