I see what this book is trying to be. I just think it wasn't going about it super well. The writing is a little too stiff and formal, but the characters just felt like stereotypes to me. I wasn't reeled into the story at all. I've read some compelling romance novels, but this one just didn't do it for me. The cover is lovely, but I wouldn't read more to find out what happens next.
