This story gives me Eat, Pray, Love vibes - with Vuitton luggage instead of a backpack and without the overt existential crisis and the “pray” part (although it’s still early). The first chapter doesn’t beat around the bush setting the stage and getting right into it, precisely mirroring the main character’s no-nonsense personality and busy NYC style. It quickly moves into an idyllic, slow paced Italian setting, ripe for self-discovery and a “who do I choose” romantic conundrum. It seems like a well-written story for someone who enjoys romantic escapism.
