I really like the feel and vibe that the cover of the book gives. Carolina Moonset definitely has a bit of a slow start as it sets the back story of Joey's dad having dementia. I can't imagine someone you love slowly loosing those precious memories of so many years. I can already tell that this book is going to be very heartfelt and a tearjerker. Carolina Moonset is very well written without having Joey's thoughts all over the place as he's thinking to himself between conversations with this dad and mom. I really enjoyed this first read and can't wait until this book comes out.
