This is one of those books wherein I’m not sure how it’ll turn out. The prevailing mood or message is unclear which isn’t a bad thing and lends to the suspense and mystery of it all. The first person perspective is vivid and inviting, even though the start of the story is a melancholy sort. I’d give it a further try but I’d have to be in the mood for it.
