Not your typical honeymoon. Newlyweds Henry and Effie from rural Georgia spend their honeymoon at a cottage on Cape May. Effie's aunt had owned the cottage and Effie had wonderful memories from her past visits there. Unfortunately, her memories didn't live up to what she found there. After almost leaving early because of boredom, the couple meet an acquaintance of Effies from long ago who with her friends were now "glamorous" socialites. After much partying, sailing, and alcohol the young newlyweds fall prey to temptations and then have to deal with aftermath of their choices.
